The British Council promotes innovative and diverse aspects of the UK arts, including visual arts, architecture, design, dance, theatre, music, film and literature. We provide opportunities for people in China and the UK to share creativity and inspire each other.

As a cultural relations organisation, we organise arts projects with the aim of building a stronger relationship between the UK and China. We also host and support high quality UK arts events in China that appeal to a wide range of audiences.

You will find more news and information on the UK arts scene on our arts Weibo page
