The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is one of the world's premier aerobatic display teams, representing the speed, agility and precision of the Royal Air Force. Since flying the first time in 1965, the team has performed more than 4,800 times across the globe.
In 2016, the team’s first ever display at Zhuhai Air Show in China delighted crowds, and its direct engagement with 3,200 people across education, business and aviation sectors on the ground unlined UK’s expertise in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
Following on from its successful 2016 visit, the Red Arrows team will be visiting China for a second time this year. During the visit, the team will participate into a series of engaging events, focusing on the history of the Red Arrows, experience of being a Red Arrow, and the cutting-edge technology and advanced manufacturing that support the team’s displays. The events will let people learn more about UK’s excellence in innovation, technology, manufacturing and creativity.
