Director Examinations for British Council China
Nick Godfrey was appointed Director Examinations, China in March 2019. In his role, he is accountable for the British Council’s UK qualification and assessment activity across mainland China and oversees the most extensive country examinations and global assessment business in the British Council global network.
Nick has worked in the area of education and cultural exchange for the British Council for the past 20 years in various management and leadership positions covering English language teaching, examination services and business management. With postings to Colombia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and most recently as Director Examinations for the Sub-Saharan Africa region, based in Kenya.
