International Management Trainee Program - Beijing Office

The Role

This is a three-phase program designed to equip candidates for an international career in the technology business. We offer an accelerated career path to our employees who show the highest potential, with the speed of progression determined by how quickly you master the skillsets.

  1. B2B Sales Consultant: Learning business value of online-media & Meltwater sales methodology, Full tech sales cycle, Engaging with C-Level Executives
  2. Business Development Manager: People Management, Business Development & Sales Training
  3. Managing Director: Fully responsible for a business on the international platform

Candidates will be placed either in a client-facing or new business acquisition stream. Both share the same career development opportunities and pace. They are exciting and challenging roles in one of our fantastic locations across Asia.

Client Success Account Manager

The Role:

You will be responsible for driving engagement for the entire client life-cycle, including client onboarding session, Meltwater service adoption, report consulting, and executive business review.

Understand clients’ need, create and maintain business value, provide suggestion to C-level executives and key influencers to get renewal procedure done smoothly.

Identify and run up-sale and cross-sale opportunities, working with growth team to expand clients’ portfolio.

Develop strong business acumen to effectively advise clients across many industries and business lines

The program has four phases, with the speed of how quickly your progress between the four determined by how quickly you master them;

  1. Client Support Analyst: Work closely with Account Managers to provide support for various client projects across Meltwaters’ proprietary software platforms.
  2. Account Manager: Learning account management, support, client engagement, how to pitch, negotiate, renewal, and sell
  3. Senior Account Manager: People management, client engagement, and adoption, sales
  4. Managing Director: Running a multi-million USD portfolio of clients with full P+L responsibility
