讲座内容：
中国新课标重塑了英语教育的教学目标、内容和方式，教师因而需要超越简单的“教授教材”，创造性地使用教学材料，培养学生的核心素养。这一转变要求教师更为深入地理解课程理念如何体现于教材之中，以及如何将这些理念转化为有效的课堂实践。
本讲将从两个相互关联的角度探讨新课标下的英语教育：教材理解与课堂实施。本讲将分析教师应如何识别教材中的主题意义、学习目标、内容结构和核心价值，并将这些要素转化为有机连贯、富有吸引力并以学生为中心的学习活动。本讲还将结合教材开发和课堂实践，为教师和教研员提供实用思路，弥合课程期望、教材设计与日常教学之间的差距。
Session Description:
As China’s new curriculum standards reshape the goals, content, and approaches to English education, teachers are expected to move beyond simply “teaching the textbook” and use materials creatively to develop students’ core competencies. This transition calls for a deeper understanding of how curriculum principles are embodied in textbooks and translated into effective classroom practice.
This presentation explores English education under the new curriculum standards from two interconnected perspectives: textbook interpretation and classroom implementation. It examines how teachers can identify the thematic meaning, learning objectives, content structure, and core values of teaching materials and translate these elements into coherent, engaging, and student-centered learning activities. Drawing on materials development and classroom practice, the presentation offers practical insights for teachers and teaching researchers seeking to bridge the gaps among curriculum expectations, textbook design, and everyday instruction.
