The search is on for the next influential voice on climate action through FameLab Climate Change Communicators: a global online competition and training event to build trust in climate science.

Whether you’re an early career researcher, working on climate change projects - or simply passionate about explaining climate science to new audiences - we would love to hear from you.

Aspiring science communicators are invited to pick up a camera and capture a video of themselves giving a three-minute talk in English linked to the theme of ‘trust in climate science’.

Ten talented finalists who impress the judges with scientific storytelling will be selected to progress to the next stage and will receive a two-day online masterclass with leading science communicators to help hone their skills.

The finalists will then go head-to-head on the virtual stage to battle it out for first place in the FameLab Climate Challenge Communicators Online Final to be livestreamed in September 2021.

The winner’s journey won’t end there - the winner of the FameLab Climate Change Communicators will be awarded a place in the FameLab International Online Final in November, where they will join over 20 countries for further training and networking and compete for the title of global winner.

FameLab Climate Change Communicators is open to video entries from aspiring science communicators from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, China, Colombia, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Turkey, Uganda, Vietnam. Other eligibility criteria apply.
