Mark Brosnan, Director of Research for Psychology at the University of Bath, discusses Autism Spectrum Disorder and its implications in China
Dr Mark Brosnan is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and Director of Research for Psychology at the University of Bath. His research focuses on how technology interacts with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Mark presented a Smart Talk on ASD , a condition which affects around 1% of the population and is associated with deficits in social communication and interaction. Using research from his own books and papers, he explored with students why and how people can become fearful of using technology and social media, and its implications in China.
