Shakespeare Expert, Tiffany Stern, asks students to consider the practicalities of Shakespeare performance in a presentation titled 'Shakespeare; Page and Stage'.

Tiffany Stern is a theatre historian who has extensively about Shakespeare’s plays and how they were influenced by the theatres that they were performed in. She has edited a number of plays and written over forty articles and chapters on 16th, 17th and 18th century literature, which have been used by theatre companies that are interested in experimenting with ‘original’ methods of Shakespearean production. She has also collaborated on the internationally recognised Riverside Shakespeare, New Mermaids play series, and Arden Shakespeare series.

Her Smart Talk focused on the influence of practical matters such as the theatre space,  actors and rehearsal practices, and their affect on a Shakespeare performance.
