Da Chen is a disability inclusion advocate and board member of World Disability Billiards and Snooker.
He has led the development of disability snooker across China and Asia.
His studies at the University of Bristol were a defining influence. The MSc Inclusive Education programme deepened his understanding of disability rights and inclusive design. At the same time, the UK’s culture of equality demonstrated how accessibility could be embedded in everyday life.
Da now hopes to further expand disability snooker across Asia. Mainly by strengthening development pathways for new athletes and supporting the sport’s progression towards the Paralympic stage.
