Dr Kelvin Liu secured his PhD degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He is the founder of the Illume Research Technology Group, which is developing a cross-border tutoring platform that aims to revolutionise teaching processes and academic assessments.
His systems have trained thousands of learners across China, the UK, and other regions. These learners have completed research papers and established start-up prototypes.
Studying at the University of Cambridge was definitive for Dr Liu’s career. Cambridge’s diverse community allowed him to work with peers from many different nations. These interactions were formative and are now evident in his outstanding cultural empathy.
