Yushi Chen

Dr Yushi Chen achieved his PhD degree in Science and Technology Policy Studies from the University of Sussex. He also studied for his master’s degree in Climate Change, Management & Finance at Imperial College London. He is now a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Tiangong Think Tank at Tsinghua University.
Dr Chen works across the areas of technology, finance, and sustainability. He has a special interest in advancing low-carbon transitions through evidence-based research.
He thinks that the UK’s unique combination of interdisciplinary training, analytical rigour, and strong links between research and industry enables highly effective academic and practical work.
