One of the youngest barristers to have been appointed Queen’s Counsel, Sir Brian has had an illustrious legal career spanning over 45 years.
In a talk that ranged from his early days as a barrister in Liverpool to his current position as President of the Queen's Bench Division, Sir Brian reflected on how he became interested in the law and what studying the law taught him. He also touched on some of major challenges he has faced, including the running of the 2012 'Inquiry into the Culture, Practice and Ethics of the Press', and the 2015 'Review of Efficiency in Criminal Proceedings'.
