William Lindesay, Great Wall expert and conservationist, draws upon first-hand experience, extensive research and a stunning collection of photos and videos to discuss his recent, exciting Great Wall expeditions.

Saluted by the People’s Daily as one of the world’s greatest Great Wall experts and praised by Xinhua News Agency for carrying out “the most successful foreign exploration of the Great Wall”, William has conducted systematic research on the Great Wall since 1994, during which he has spent an estimated 1,600 days of his life, or four full years, on the wall in all seasons.

William’s talk brought to life 20 years of research experience on this great wonder of the world; including discoveries of his latest expeditions that have chartered previously unknown sections. His fascinating talk covered material unfamiliar even to audiences who have spent considerable time on the Great Wall.
