From January 2016, seven short animated Shakespeare films aimed at 6 - 11 year olds who are learning English as a second language will be available to subscribers on the LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime app.
Six of these films are fun, simplified summaries of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, while the seventh is a short animation of Shakespeare’s life and times. All the films are around three minutes long and aimed at beginner learners. Later in the year these films will also be available on the LearnEnglish Kids website.
