The British Council has launched a new online platform China Now in the UK in 2017.

China Now is a new membership-based service for UK arts organisations and artists with an interest in working in China and Hong Kong. It offers feature stories, events, news, opportunities and research. 

Feature stories include a focus on music festivals, the digital landscape, small to medium touring, and museums. New stories are added each month, with regular news updates.

Research includes insights to audience segmentation, digital, makerspaces and professional skills analysis for China’s Museums and Performing Arts sectors.   

China Now is a resource hub to understand China and Hong Kong’s fast-moving arts and creative economies. It aims to help shape international strategy and ambitions, making direct connections between UK professionals and their counterparts overseas.
