HSBC China partnered with the British Council in 2014 to sponsor its prestigious UK Study Visit Programme, an initiative that enables Chinese social entrepreneurs to experience thriving social enterprises in the UK.
As a result HSBC were able to significantly enhance their corporate sustainability programme:
- The British Council provided HSBC with platforms to engage with 22 highly influential social entrepreneurs and investors in China.
- HSBC were also able to extend their connection and outreach with 16,869 social entrepreneurs through the branding of our Social Investment Platform Awards Ceremony and utilising the British Council’s online and social media channels.
