Director Arts, British Council China; Culture Counsellor of the Culture Education Section of the British Embassy
Dom is the Director Arts, British Council in China; Culture Counsellor of the Culture Education Section of the British Embassy. In this role, he oversees a diverse and impactful portfolio of activity designed to connect individuals and organisations from the UK and China to opportunities that build connections, capability and appreciation through and for the arts.
Dom joined the British Council in 2016, initially to lead on a year of culture between the UK and India. Other positions held include Arts Advisor in Myanmar and Arts Manager in Scotland. Prior to joining the council, Dom worked across the Scottish cultural sector as a freelance project and festival producer.
